Assessment

The CompTIA Network+ course requires students to take an examination at a local test centre. It is the students' responsibility to book the exam. The exam costs around £169.

The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by email. You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration.

Students are advised to have the CompTIA A+ knowledge, although certification is not required. It is also advised that students have 9-12 months work experience in IT Networking.

You will spend around 180 hours studying on this course in your own time at home. Students are provided with a full 12 months to complete the course.
