Title: PHP Web Developer

The role includes a broad range of development for an eclectic group of companies. This will include projects such as ongoing work to existing E-commerce environments and development of the in house CRM system along with frequent new projects. You will be responsible for new development work and additional work to existing company assets.
You must have an understanding/appreciation of general commerce, credit card services such as SagePay and an ability to visualise business processes in detail in order to replicate them in your code.
The companies are agile and in the forefront of their industries, this is replicated in the work that is done; you certainly won’t get bored working there! You will report directly to the Online Marketing Manager and Operations Director in turn who are both IT professionals. The office is lively, friendly and devoted. The role is demanding but rewarding and the use of new techniques will be highly encouraged.
Technical skills you require will be:
- Strong PHP/MySQL skills
- Current knowledge of, or willingness to learn Ruby on Rails
- Linux Web Servers (Apache)
- MySQL Replication
- Standards compliant HTML, CSS, XML and Javascript
- Project management and planning
- Experience with Online Learning Environments would be advantageous but not essential
You will need to be forwarding thinking and able to suggest best practices. You will be pro-active in your approach and willing to go the extra mile.
The offices are based at Birmingham Business Park and you will be required to work there 5 days per week, 9am – 5.30pm. There is excellent public transport and several employees currently commute from afar.

Title: Bookkeeping / Accounts Tutor

We are currently recruiting a Bookkeeping tutor. You will ideally have experience in tutoring this subject via distance learning and be available for email and telephone contact. This position is urgent so please get in touch to find out more.
You will be working closely with the existing team to ensure students questions and problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. You will have detailed knowledge of distance learning and the infrastructure that surrounds it. It will be important to know our courses inside-out from the outset in order to help students quickly with their problems.

Telesales Advisors based near Birmingham selling our range of distance learning courses. We are looking for Telesales advisors to join us, you will need to have previous telesales experience as we require you to hit the ground running. Full product training will be given but we require you to have general telesales skills from day 1. We will help to constantly develop your skills and are ultimately here to ensure you make as much money as possible. You will be contacting new customers who are actively looking for our products.

- A contact database of people who have requested to be contacted by us
- Inbound telephone calls
- A database of people who have requested some more information
- People who didn't complete our online enrolment process
- An external database of people who are actively looking for our products and have asked to be contacted.
