How Our Homeopathy Course Can Help Your Career

Homeopathy is an underrated system and career choice. And since it's World Homeopathy Awareness Week, we decided it was only right to show it the love and respect it deserves.
In the modern era, more and more people are turning to homeopathy as a form of alternative medicine, and therefore the needs for more homeopaths and practitioners is increasing.

The History of Homeopathy

As it stands now, homeopathy has been used in modern medicine for the last 200 years. However, its origins date back to the Greek physician, Hippocrates, who introduced the idea of the Four Humours.
The Four Humours were four bodily liquids that made up the health and physical components of the body; Hippocrates believed that if these humours were out of balance, then this is what caused illness and disease. To treat this, he proposed that the balance could be restored by maintaining these humours without medicine or surgeries.
It is from this theory that German doctor, Samuel Hahnemann, discovered homeopathy. He wanted to find a more natural way to cure illness than medical treatment and discovered that the causes of illnesses were more often or not part of the cure, too.
And this is what Homeopathy is all about – treating problems with an alternative holistic remedy that triggers the body to heal itself.

What does a Homeopath do?

A homeopath’s role entails 3 specific requirements:

  • Diagnose a client’s problems
  • Identify the causes
  • Prescribe (and sometimes make) a remedy to treat the symptoms

Not only that, you will often get to work with a lot of natural plants and treatments in order to discover new remedies.
So, if aromatic plants and herbs are your thing, then this is the career for you.
