Students’ knowledge will be tested by two different assessment methods. To successfully complete Unit 1, students will be asked to complete a series of worksheets to determine students understanding of key concepts and materials. Unit 2 will be assessed via a case study which requires students to design a programme card for each trimester and postnatal period.

This course will take approximately 40 hours to complete. Once enrolled, you will receive a full year to complete the course, which is a lot more time than you will need. This allows you to work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines.

You will study this course by distance learning, which will enable you to learn when and where you want. You can study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. At the end of this course successful learners will receive an ActiveIQ Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Post-Natal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition (qualification accreditation number 603/3592/O). This means that you will achieve a Level 3 qualification on The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
