This course in Equine Studies will give you a broad knowledge of horses, from their basic evolution and biology, through to horse breeds, advice on buying a horse and how to ride a horse safely and properly.

  • Explore how to look after horses properly and how to ride them safely.
  • Discover the biology of the horse and how each system functions.
  • Learn about the different breeds of horses that are available and identify which is the best breed for you.
  • Learn how to carry out regular checks on the physical health of your horse and how to groom and feed them properly for optimum health.
